FAQs
1. Which FUNDABILITY option should I choose?
PitchLab strengthens your pitch. Venture Assessment evaluates investment potential and venture readiness. Full Due Diligence provides a deeper examination of the investment case and supporting evidence. ValuationLab evaluates valuation using methodologies appropriate to the company’s stage, business model, and available information. Read the User Guide for a side-by-side comparison of the assessment options.
2. What should I provide?
Start with the materials you already have. Depending on the option selected, this may include your pitch deck, financial model, customer evidence, market research, contracts or LOIs, technical documentation, ownership information, financing terms, and other supporting records. The more relevant, current, and well-supported information you provide, the more rigorous and useful the analysis can be. Our User Guide identifies both the materials needed to begin and the additional documents that can strengthen the results.
3. How much does the quality of my information matter?
A lot. The quality, completeness, and accuracy of the information provided directly influence the quality of a FUNDABILITY report. A pitch deck alone can support a useful initial analysis, but stronger supporting evidence allows FUNDABILITY to test claims more rigorously and produce deeper, more decision-useful findings. Better evidence produces stronger analysis. When information is limited, outdated, inconsistent, or unsupported, FUNDABILITY identifies those gaps rather than filling them with assumptions.
4. Do I need every recommended document?
No. FUNDABILITY can work with incomplete information as long as there is enough material to conduct a meaningful review. However, missing evidence may limit the depth or confidence of certain conclusions. Rather than guessing, FUNDABILITY identifies what remains unsupported or unverified and highlights the additional evidence that could strengthen the analysis.
5. Do I need an NDA before submitting materials?
No. FUNDABILITY does not enter into NDAs as part of the standard review process. Please submit only information you are authorized and comfortable sharing without an NDA, and redact trade secrets, personal data, or other highly sensitive information where appropriate. You are responsible for determining what information to provide. FUNDABILITY, its Affiliates and Partners are not responsible for confidential or proprietary information voluntarily submitted for review, to the extent permitted by law.
6. What if my company is pre-revenue or very early stage?
That is not a problem. FUNDABILITY calibrates its analysis to company stage and sector. An early-stage company isn't expected to show the same evidence as a later-stage business. Customer discovery, prototypes, design partners, technical validation, market evidence and execution milestones may be more relevant than revenue alone. The standard remains rigorous, but the expectations are stage-appropriate.
7. How is FUNDABILITY different from a typical pitch or AI review?
FUNDABILITY goes beyond presentation quality and surface-level scoring. Depending on the option selected, it incorporates structured investment-readiness analysis, evidence verification, stage- and sector-aware calibration, competitive analysis, SWOT, financial diligence, claim checking, valuation methodology and actionable remediation. The objective is not simply to determine whether the story sounds compelling. It is to evaluate how well the underlying investment case stands up to scrutiny.
8. Does FUNDABILITY include competitive analysis?
Yes. Venture Assessment, Full Due Diligence and ValuationLab incorporate competitive and strategic analysis where relevant. This may include market structure, competitive positioning, defensibility, strategic vulnerabilities, company-specific advantages and structured SWOT analysis.
9. Can FUNDABILITY value my company?
Yes. ValuationLab is designed specifically for this purpose. Rather than relying on a single formula, FUNDABILITY evaluates which valuation methodologies are appropriate based on the company’s stage, business model, financial information and available evidence. Where the inputs support it, the analysis may include multiple valuation methods, assumptions, sensitivities and financing scenarios. Valuation outputs are analytical estimates and are not certified appraisals.
10. Is FUNDABILITY an investment recommendation?
No. FUNDABILITY provides structured venture analysis to support better decision-making. It does not guarantee fundraising success, predict investment outcomes or replace professional investment, legal, tax, accounting or certified valuation advice.
11. What should I review before submitting materials?
Please read our Support, Privacy and Terms & Conditions for contacts, data-handling practices, service limitations and liability provisions.
